Words of Wisdom for February 10, 2024

A practitioner – not attending to the perception of people, not attending to the perception of forest – attends to the unitary perception of earth. Their mind enters into that perception of earth and acquires confidence, steadiness, and decision. They understand, “Whatever disturbances there might be dependent on the perception of people or of forest, those are not present here. There is present only this amount of disturbance, namely, the unitary perception of earth.”

A practitioner – not attending to the perception of forest, not attending to the perception of earth – attends to the unitary perception of the sphere of boundless space. Their mind enters into that perception of the sphere of boundless space and acquires confidence, steadiness, and decision. They understand, “… There is present only this amount of disturbance, namely, the unitary perception of the sphere of boundless space.”
A practitioner – not attending to the perception of earth, not attending to the perception of the sphere of boundless space – attends to the unitary perception of the sphere of boundless consciousness. Their mind enters into that perception of the sphere of boundless consciousness and acquires confidence, steadiness, and decision. They understand, “… There is present only this amount of disturbance, namely, the unitary perception of the sphere of boundless consciousness.”
