It turns out we learned to qualify everything, to say ‘almost’ and ‘perhaps’ and ‘it could be’ and ‘it’s likely’ and ‘maybe,’ maybe too well. As befits the understandings of contemporary physics, Truth became statistical truth and never an absolute.
