Words of Wisdom for February 19, 2024

Dear Friends:
Anicca–change, or impermanence–is one of the three characteristics of our existence. But even with our Dharma practice, when we have so much coming at us, we may feel afraid of change, or be afraid to make some changes in ourselves. One thing that gets in the way of letting go of negative thought patterns and making changes is trauma. What’s beautiful, though, is that the psychological, neurological, and biochemical impacts of trauma can be reversed entirely! The mind has enough neuroplasticity that you can heal and thrive in ways that you may have never believed possible.
