Mini Mindfulness Break for December 11, 2019

We have the wise guidance to “not seek after enlightenment, simply cease to cherish opinions.” Having opinions about other’s opinions comes to the same thing! We just hightail it back to thisherenow, back to conscious, compassionate awareness.

Mini Mindfulness Break for November 19, 2019

Without “winning” or “losing” there’s just falling in love with the game. If I’m not taking it personally or seriously, what else is there really to do?

Mini Mindfulness Break for November 05, 2019

Fear is not what you think it is. Fear is not who you are underneath your facade. Fear is not the real you that you must somehow fix or improve or overcome. Fear is a very useful signal along the path to freedom. The stronger the fear, the closer you are to what you are seeking. If you want to stay “safe (i.e. stuck where you are), fear tells you to stop what you are doing, but if you want to be free, fear lets you know you are on the right track, it is a signal to push head in the same direction, to pick up the pace.

Mini Mindfulness Break for September 18, 2019

When we choose to empty the teacup of “I, me, and mine,” when we drop the karmic story, when we redirect the attention from the conversation in conditioned mind to thisherenow, what is is the blessed knowledge of emptiness!

Mini Mindfulness Break for August 21, 2019

We practice learning not to shut our eyes, to notice without judgment, to see with unconditional acceptance, and to let go without effort that which stands in the way of loving the world.

Mini Mindfulness Break for May 26, 2019

Grief is overwhelming only when it’s left in the “hands” of egocentric karmic conditioning/self-hate. It’s no different from any other life experience. If we approach it from center, it brings richness to our lives. If we turn it over to ego, as with anything turned over to ego, it becomes a source of suffering.

Mini Mindfulness Break for May 22, 2019

We don’t know what’s ahead for any of us, but we all know it’s possible to live each moment with all the joy, gratitude, and love we would want to share if this moment were our last.

“You” need to hear your voice. Everyone needs to hear their own voice expressing their own experience of what is authentically Life.

Mini Mindfulness Break for April 15, 2019

Life is what we are. The dropping into the spaciousness that we experience when we let go of the conversation in conditioned mind is how we experience Life living us. Everyone who gets this, gets the gift of a lifetime! The authentic “gift that keeps on giving.”

May you be free from suffering and the causes of suffering!

Mini Mindfulness Break for January 20, 2019

Egocentric karmic conditioning/self-hate specializes in the “that’s beautiful/that’s ugly,” “that’s malevolent/that’s healing.” The dualistic world of the illusion of a self separate from Life is constantly comparing/judging. But we know that dualistic process is an illusion. There’s no such thing as this or that; there’s only and always this AND that. One whole.
